Things I Do to Please Men

I post my pictures online to attract men. I don't have any other job in the world than to constantly seek male attention because that is what I live upon. My pictures online are not an expression of self. I don't tend to share my identity, my happiness, my moods, and my experiences with my family and friends, and people in general. Who cares about them in the first place? It's the compliments from men on my pictures that I look forward to. Everything else is irrelevant.

I grow my hair long to please men. Because chopping off one's hair is considered a bold step and the woman might come across as a feminazi. Long hair, on the other hand, is supposedly a symbol of femininity. So, I grow my hair long not because I love it and think that it suits my personality, but because ALL men love long hair, and I'm a stereotypical woman trying to fit herself in the existing patriarchal norms.

I workout to please men. No, not because I want to stay fit and healthy, and constantly try to strengthen my immunity against the various diseases. Not because it makes me feel confident to have a good physique. And certainly not because I personally love working out.

I wear short skirts to gather male attention. Not because I love wearing short skirts. Not because it feels cool to try wearing different outfits, and keep up with the trends because I can afford to. And certainly not because I feel confident enough of my body to flaunt parts of it that are in shape.

I wear make-up to please men. I want men to lust over me when I put on my Ruby Woo. Not because it boosts self-confidence. Not because I love wearing make-up. Not because I like to look attractive and presentable to the society as a whole when I step out into the world.

I don't do any of the above mentioned apologetically frivolous but still existing nuances to keep up with the trends in the society in general as well as pamper self. I don't endorse personal choice. My entire existence depends upon seeking validation from one particular sex. I breathe to please men.
